Welcome to the Club!!

This club's roots date back to the early 90's when many of us first started our ski shop careers at the now defunct Princeton Ski Shop (very sad). The best part of working at a shop was the friendships that were made. Some may’ve lasted a season, while others may last a lifetime. The beauty of working at a shop is we all had something in common; we love to ride...skis, snowboards, snow bikes, and even snow blades (not really). So now, since we've said our good-byes to Princeton, we figured we would reunite and officially form this ski union, the Snodazers Ski & Recreation Club. This club is not just for former or present ski shop employees, it's for all of us who enjoy sliding down the side of a mountain, sitting on a chair-lift in below zero temps, knowing what aprés ski is, and enjoying life to it's fullest. This club will be a place for old friends & new friends alike to hang & ride. It's a place where people are encouraged to go out and get some fresh air and take in the scenery.

By officially forming the club, it allows us as a collective group to receive some pretty decent discounts. There's always power in numbers! As I stated on our facebook page, by joining the club we have the ability to purchase lift tickets to select mountains at discounted prices--some as much as 50% off! (That rivals some of the deals that some of us shop employees were used to.) By becoming a member you'll also have the ability to take your official Snodazers membership ID to select mountains' ticket windows and receive a walk-up discount. For example, at Belleayre you can show your validated ID and get $10 off a lift ticket any day of the season. Other mountains, such as Stowe, offer certain days or weeks where you can ride for as low as $40. That's about 50% off their regular ticket price! There are also participating shops that will honor our existence with 10%-20% off gear. Again, you just need to show your validated card. When I say validated ID, it's an annual validation sticker from the Metropolitan Ski Council. They are basically the governing body of the New York City based clubs. So, that's how this thing works. We are in our infancy stages, so the more you put into it, the more you will get out of it.

See our Constitution for the official rules.

In the coming months, we hope to have a lot more content up on our site. Our hope is that it develops into a little community of outdoor enthusiasts and part-time thrill seekers. We want it to be a forum where people can ask questions, buy & sell gear, post rentals, share experiences. With that said, this will be your place to find out anything and everything about snow riding and the experience that comes along with it. By the way, feel free to drop us a line, we're open to any and all suggestions!
Interested in joining? Renewal dues up? Grab and fill out the attached form and bring it to our next meeting. We look forward to seeing you there!
